Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit rentujemy.ae, contact us, or use our short-term rental management services in Dubai. We process personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable laws.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is R J M Y Vacation Homes Rental L.L.C, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under trade licence no. 1479918 issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, with its registered office at Office 502-20, Rasis Business Centre 5, Al Barsha First, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company operates under the RENTUJEMY brand and is part of the RENTUJEMY group; its sole shareholder is RENTUJEMY sp. z o.o. (Poland).

What data we collect

• Data you give us in our forms (adding an apartment, requesting a call back): your name, email address, phone number, the area your apartment is in, details about the property, and any message you write.
• If you become a client: the identification, contact and property details needed to sign and perform the management agreement, including the documents required for the DTCM holiday home permit and the bank details we pay your income to.
• If you stay in one of our apartments or contact our guest line: contact and reservation details, and identity documents where Dubai regulations require guest registration.
• Technical data, only after you accept cookies: pages you visit, your device and browser, approximate location, and how you reached the site (including campaign parameters).

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and contact you about managing your apartment, at your request and, for phone and email follow-up, with your consent.
• To sign and perform our agreement with you, or to handle your stay.
• To meet our legal obligations, including DTCM requirements and accounting and tax rules.
• To keep your data and our services secure, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
• To analyse traffic on this site and measure our advertising, only with your consent given in the cookie banner.

We contact you by phone or email about our services only if you asked us to or ticked the consent box in the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing dubai@rentujemy.ae. This does not affect anything we did with your consent before you withdrew it.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to work are always on. Analytics cookies load only after you click "Accept and continue" in the cookie banner. Until then, Google Analytics does not store any cookies on your device.

• rtj_consent (cookie, 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google), only with your consent: measures visits and the effectiveness of our advertising. It runs in Google Consent Mode with IP anonymisation.
• rjmy_utm (session storage): the campaign parameters you arrived with (such as UTM, gclid or fbclid), so we know which channel an enquiry came from. It is deleted when you close the tab.
• rtj_callme_* (local and session storage): remembers that you already requested a call back or closed that window, so we do not show it to you again.

You can change your decision at any time by deleting this site's cookies in your browser. The banner will then appear again.

Who we share it with

• Our team and other RENTUJEMY group companies that support our operations, including RENTUJEMY sp. z o.o. (Poland), and the platform we use to manage enquiries, owners and reservations.
• Service providers working on our behalf: HubSpot, Inc. (customer relationship management), Slack Technologies (internal notifications about new enquiries), Google (analytics), and our hosting and IT providers.
• Booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com, when this is needed to handle a reservation.
• Accounting, legal and payment service providers.
• Public authorities, including DTCM, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

Transfers outside the UAE

Some of the providers above, and our group company in Poland, are located outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. We transfer personal data only as UAE law allows: to countries with an adequate level of protection, under contractual safeguards, or where the transfer is needed to perform our agreement with you.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: for as long as we need to handle your enquiry and follow up on it, and in any case only until you withdraw your consent to be contacted.
• Client data: for the duration of our agreement and afterwards until any claims under it are time-barred.
• Accounting and tax records: for the period required by UAE law.
• Cookie data: for the lifetime of the cookie, or until you withdraw your consent.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law you have the right to:

• be informed about, and get access to, the data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected, or incomplete data completed;
• have your data erased, or its processing restricted;
• object to processing, including for direct marketing, and withdraw your consent at any time;
• receive your data in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another company where this is technically possible, when we process it based on your consent or to perform our contract with you.

To use any of these rights, email dubai@rentujemy.ae. It is free of charge. We may decline a request only where the law allows it, for example when it is excessively repetitive or would reveal other people's data, and we will tell you why.

If you believe we have processed your data in breach of the law, you can lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

If you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our processing, you have the rights it grants as well, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If your data is compromised

We protect your data with technical and organisational security measures. If a breach could affect the privacy or confidentiality of your personal data, we will notify the UAE Data Office and you, and tell you what we have done about it.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. With your consent, the analytics tools above may use your data to measure and tailor advertising.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
